Q Series Integrator eliminates the need for costly upgrades or implementation of new payroll solution for JD Edwards World customers

DENVER, May 15, 2013 – Spinnaker Support, the global market leader for SAP and JD Edwards third-party maintenance, co-sourcing, and consulting services, announces significant adoption of their Q Series Integrator by JD Edwards World Payroll users. The Q Series Integrator gives JDE World Payroll users on versions earlier than A9.2.1 a solution to integrate vital payroll tax functions in the Vertex® Payroll Tax Q Series (PTQ) without necessitating an upgrade to World A9.3.

When Vertex announced the retirement of its Payroll Tax L Series (PTL) product, they offered their customers an alternative, which was to switch to the new PTQ product by upgrading to World A9.3 by the end of December 2013. Many users of A7.3 and A8.1 have stable environments with a great deal of customizations that meet the current needs of their business, so they have little desire to upgrade. Spinnaker Support saw this need and announced the Q Series Integrator in November 2012. Since then, they have signed on a significant number of new customers and have many more in the pipeline.  These JDE World Payroll users see the value of staying on their current version while having access to all the necessary payroll tax updates.

The Q Series Integrator delivers a real-time integration between the defined World version and the Vertex PTQ product.  Implementation of the solution includes all development, testing, and consulting services, and takes an average of four weeks.  Spinnaker Support expects to complete over 100 implementations in 2013. A significantly less costly investment than upgrading, the Q Series Integrator works flawlessly and has minimal impact to the customers. The Q Series Integrator will be supported by Spinnaker Support for as long as the solution is in use.
