Major Casino Group Ends Support with Current Third-Party Maintenance Provider and Joins Spinnaker Support Family of Customers

DENVER, July 11, 2013 Spinnaker Support, the global market leader for SAP, Siebel, and JD Edwards third-party maintenance, application/technical management services, and consulting services, announces that a renowned Las Vegas casino group has moved their third-party maintenance services to Spinnaker Support from their major competitor.  Having access to Spinnaker Support’s Q Series Integrator was the primary impetus for the switch.

Correct payroll tax calculation is critical to every business.  When the casino group realized that their Vertex® Payroll Tax L Series would be retired on December 31, 2013, that they had no method for receiving updates, and that their current third-party maintenance provider lacked the ability to deliver, they reached out to Spinnaker Support.  Spinnaker Support’s Q Series Integrator provides JDE World Payroll users on version A7.3 through A9.2 a solution for integrating with the Vertex Payroll Tax Q Series (PTQ) without necessitating an upgrade to World A9.3 and its required upgrade to the V7R1 OS.  With the company already off Oracle maintenance and no desire to return to the software publisher to upgrade, Spinnaker Support’s offering made business sense and was the most cost-effective solution.

Vertex announced that the retirement of its Payroll Tax L Series (PTL) product, affecting JDE World US and Canadian Payroll users on version A7.3 through A9.2 currently utilizing PTL as their tax calculation and reporting solution.  Subsequently, Oracle replaced the PTL interface with the new PTQ interface in its latest version, World A9.3, and now A9.2.1. With the Q Series Integrator from Spinnaker Support, those World clients facing an Oracle mandated upgrade have a choice.

Implementation of the Q Series Integrator includes all development, testing, and consulting services, and takes an average of four weeks.  Spinnaker Support is expecting to implement its Q Series solution in over 100 companies in 2013. A significantly less costly investment than upgrading, the Q Series Integrator works flawlessly and has minimal implementation impact for customers.
