Matt Stava

Chief Executive Officer and Chairman

Matt Stava is a 20+ year veteran technology executive who has been leading Spinnaker Support since inception in 2008. Under his management, the company has experienced double-digit growth through service line and geographic expansion, now operating globally out of nine sales and operations centers.

Mr. Stava founded Spinnaker Support to provide organizations that run Oracle and SAP enterprise software an alternative to vendor-provided support. His mission was and remains today to simply to deliver exceptional customer-service at significantly less cost. Through innovative and certified processes, employing the best people, and always respecting the vendor’s intellectual property, Spinnaker Support is a leading influencer in the third-party support market.

Matt Stava began his career at Andersen Consulting, now Accenture, where he helped customers architect and restructure their supply chains. He then joined Solutions Consulting, subsequently acquired by Perot Systems, to launch and lead their supply chain practice. In 2002, he co-founded Spinnaker Management Group, which began as a supply chain consulting business but has grown and evolved into a holding company with several different practice areas.

Mr. Stava lives in Colorado and enjoys family time, golfing, and skiing. He is currently involved in several local charities including 9 years as a Board Member and Trustee of the Denver Area Council of Boy Scouts. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance from University of Kansas.

Bob Harland

Chief Delivery Officer

As Spinnaker Support’s Chief Delivery Officer, Mr. Harland is responsible for the global Oracle, SAP, SaaS, and Tax and Regulatory operations teams. His focus is to ensure that the global support services team continues Spinnaker Support’s tradition of delivering excellence to customers.

Bob Harland is a results-oriented leader with more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of Oracle E-Business Suite implementation, business process transformation, application development process life cycle, managed services, and support. He started his career at Arthur Andersen where he worked for twelve years, four of which working as an auditor in the Andersen attestation business and the remaining eight years implementing ERP packages and building his Oracle application and technology skillset. Mr. Harland was acquired out of Arthur Andersen by Hitachi Consulting where he worked for nine years, focusing exclusively on Oracle applications and technology. Prior to joining Spinnaker Support, Mr. Harland worked for an Oracle focused integrator that had significant support related work in addition to implementation-related services. Mr. Harland has worked across many industries in his career and has worked with a wide variety of global customers from Fortune 100 to mid-market companies.

Mr. Harland lives in Colorado and enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his family, fishing, hiking, and mountain bike riding. He holds a Masters of Science in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Iain Saunderson

Chief Technology Officer

As Spinnaker Support’s Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Saunderson is responsible for the internal and external facing technology leveraged at Spinnaker Support, as well as managing the security practice.

Iain Saunderson has over 30 years of experience implementing complex technologies across a wide variety of commercial and government verticals. He has served in leadership roles in organizations including Oracle Corporation, P2 Energy Solutions, and DBAK. Iain’s experience is in leading enterprise architecture, development, and managed services organizations.

Mr. Saunderson lives in Colorado and enjoys spending time trail running and skiing in the mountains. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Business Information Systems from the University of Natal in South Africa.

Megan Morris

Chief Human Resources Officer

As Spinnaker Support’s Chief Human Resources Officer, Ms. Morris is responsible for all aspects of HR as the company continues to grow and evolve. Her focus is on putting the backbone in place to build a scalable organization.

Megan Morris has over 20 years of experience in all areas of human resources including employee engagement, leadership development, and total rewards. Prior to joining Spinnaker Support, she was Vice President of Human Resources at Jagged Peak Energy, a public independent oil & gas producer based in Denver before it was acquired by Parsley Energy earlier this year. Prior to that, she served in several executive roles where she expanded the HR function within the organizations to meet the growing needs.

Ms. Morris lives in Colorado, where she enjoys time with her family and friends experiencing all the outdoor activities Colorado has to offer such as skiing, camping, and hiking. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Loyola University, Chicago. She also has a Master of Business Administration from Suffolk University and is SHRM-SCP and SPHR certified.

Anthony Cefola

Vice President, Oracle Technology Global Support Services

As Spinnaker Support’s Vice President of Oracle Technology Global Support Services, Mr. Cefola is responsible for all Oracle Technology business development activities, consulting delivery, and organizational management. The Oracle Technology Team includes but is not limited to Oracle Database, SOA and Middleware technologies, Analytics (such as OBIEE), ATG & Endeca search, Identity Management, and Operating System support delivery teams. His focus is to ensure that the Oracle Technology support services team continuously delivers excellent service to customers.

Anthony Cefola has been working in the Technology space for 20+ years with experiences running the gamut from Web Technologies and Database Administration to Siebel CRM, Analytics and Operating Systems. His focus is always on providing world-class support and consulting to his customers. Before joining Spinnaker Support in 2014 Mr. Cefola led senior technology experts in providing support and development at Siebel, TomorrowNow, ABTech Systems, and Triumph Consulting. Mr. Cefola has been focused on third-party support since 2006.

Mr. Cefola lives in central North Carolina, near Raleigh and Research Triangle Park. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing poker and darts, watching sports and movies, or just enjoying a drink with friends. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Information and Communications from Ithaca College.

Dave Bass

Vice President, Oracle Applications Global Support Services

As Spinnaker Support’s Vice President of Oracle Applications Global Support Services, Mr. Bass is responsible for all Oracle Applications business development activities, consulting delivery, and organizational management. The Oracle Applications team includes but is not limited to the E-Business Suite, Oracle Retail Applications, Siebel, Hyperion, Agile PLM, and Peoplesoft support delivery teams.  His focus is to ensure that the Oracle Applications support services team continuously delivers excellent service to customers.

Dave Bass brings more than 20 years of Oracle experience, including extensive consulting work on implementations of Oracle Financial modules for a broad base of industry verticals, including financial services, telecommunications, information technology, online software services, avionics, publishing, and education. Mr. Bass joined Spinnaker Support in 2015 as an EBS Financials Engineer and is now excited to focus on building customer relationships, growing practice offerings and capabilities, learning new technologies, and building engaging teams of professionals worldwide.

Mr. Bass lives in Colorado, where he enjoys playing golf, reading history, and traveling with his wife of 20+ years. He holds a Masters in Management and Organization from the University of Colorado, Denver.

Shawn Du Plessis

Vice President, SAP Global Support Services

As Spinnaker Support’s Vice President, SAP Global Support Services, Mr. du Plessis is responsible for all SAP business development activities, consulting delivery, and organizational development. His focus is to ensure that the SAP support services team continues delivering excellence to customers.

Shawn du Plessis is an SAP veteran with more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of SAP Sales support, SAP management, implementation, business process re-engineering, development process life cycle, managed services, and third-party support. He has extensive knowledge of SAP applications and processes with a strong emphasis in software engineering concepts, design principles, and implementation and support methodologies. Mr. du Plessis began his SAP career as an SAP configuration analyst for Siemens designing and developing new systems for Siemens South Africa. He also spent over 20 years at a consulting company based out of Orange County, California providing implementation leadership and support for many fortune 500 companies. Mr. du Plessis has spent the last 9 years developing third-party support and maintenance practices. Just before joining Spinnaker Support, Mr. du Plessis was at Rimini Street where he built their SAP third-party support practice.

Mr. du Plessis lives in Arizona and enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his family, cycling, boating, camping, and hiking. He holds a Higher National Diploma (Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering equivalent) from Johannesburg Technical College, Johannesburg, South Africa.

Chad Stewart

Vice President, Global SaaS Support Services

As Spinnaker Support’s Vice President, Global SaaS Support Services, Mr. Stewart is responsible for all SaaS business development activities, consulting delivery, and organizational development. His focus is to ensure that the SaaS support services team delivers excellence to customers.

Chad Stewart is an experienced practice leader and architect with over 10 years’ experience delivering exceptional outcomes to customers by bringing together business, technology, data, and people. With expertise across the enterprise SaaS landscape and a specialty in the Salesforce platform, Mr. Stewart focuses on how enterprises overcome resourcing challenges to get the most value out of their strategic platforms. Mr. Stewart began his career as a Salesforce configuration consultant for Accenture before joining Slalom Consulting. At Slalom, he provided implementation and technical architecture leadership across Salesforce cloud solutions. As a practice leader, Mr. Stewart focused on building customer relationships, growing practice offerings and capabilities, learning new technologies, and building engaging teams of professionals.

Mr. Stewart lives in Colorado and enjoys being active with his family. From hiking, biking, skiing, and camping to enjoying a hazy IPA at a local brewery, he is always ready to enjoy the Colorado sunshine. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Colorado State University.

Brian Stanz

Vice President, JD Edwards Global Support Services

As Spinnaker Support’s Vice President of JD Edwards Global Support Services, Mr. Stanz is responsible for all Oracle JD Edwards (JDE) business development activities, consulting delivery, and organizational management. His focus is to ensure that the JDE support services team continuously delivers excellent service to customers.

Brian Stanz has 30 years of success building and leading onshore and offshore IT in the development and support of world-class enterprise application software products, including Cloud, On-Premise, Hybrid, and SaaS solutions. Mr. Stanz began his career as a JD Edwards World technical consultant on the East Coast, which led to being a part of the team that built what we know today as JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. Before joining Spinnaker Support, Mr. Stanz held leadership roles at Oracle and Q Software, where his teams helped customers create competitive differentiation and future business sustainability.

Mr. Stanz lives in Colorado, where he enjoys all sorts of outdoor activities, watching his three kids grow up too fast, and enjoying his wife’s adventures with the Raptor Education Foundation. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from Rutgers University.

Martin Biggs

Vice President & Managing Director, EMEA & Strategic Markets

As Spinnaker Support’s Vice President and General Manager – EMEA, Mr. Biggs is responsible for driving the sales and operational management of SAP, Oracle, and Salesforce services in Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

Martin joined Spinnaker Support after a career of 19 years at IBM where he worked in various sales and leaderships roles in IBM’s services business across Asia Pacific and the United Kingdom. He has developed and grown business units within IBM that span networking, security, resilience, managed infrastructure, and latterly IT maintenance and support. It was in this capacity he drove IBM’s expansion into maintaining third-party enterprise software before joining Spinnaker Support. Having recently spent a decade working for IBM out of Singapore, he has been successful in developing and expanding IT Services revenue across many diverse cultures and challenging economies.

Mr. Biggs lives in South West London, where he enjoys spending time with his wife and three young children, looking forward to the time when they can travel and explore far flung locations of the world together as a family. To relax, Martin enjoys listening to jazz and playing the saxophone. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Warwick, England.

Ian Collins

Vice President and General Manager – APAC

As Spinnaker Support’s Vice President and General Manager – APAC, Mr. Collins is responsible for driving the sales and operational management of SAP and Oracle services in Asia Pacific.

Mr. Collins joined Spinnaker Support with over 30 years’ experience in IT services business across a broad range of roles in sales, delivery, and business acquisition. He enjoyed a 25+ year career with IBM that spanned three continents with a range of assignments leading both established and start-up business units, predominantly in the Services, Outsourcing, and Software businesses. Following that and prior to joining Spinnaker Support he spent time as VP Sales in the Application Services, and Telecommunications industries covering the Asia region.

Mr. Collins lives in Melbourne, Australia, where he enjoys sailing, cycling, traveling, and following Formula 1 motorsport. He graduated with Honours and holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from the University of Portsmouth, England.

Randy Freeman

Vice President, Global Solution Consulting

As Spinnaker Support’s Vice President of Global Solution Consulting, Mr. Freeman is responsible for an advanced, expert team that specializes in designing, solutioning, and pricing of Spinnaker Support offerings in all regions. His focus is to ensure that his team is generating a strong business solution the meets the technical needs of our future and existing customer base.

Randy Freeman brings more than 20 years of IT experience and business leadership. Mr. Freeman joined Spinnaker Support in 2022 and is now excited to focus on building customer relationships, growing our company at scale and bringing value to our customers worldwide.

Mr. Freeman lives in Ohio, where he enjoys traveling with his wife, visiting his adult children, and spending time in the outdoors.
