In 2002, co-founders Rob Benson and Matt Stava decided that they didn’t want to stay with the huge consulting conglomerate after the company they worked for at the time was acquired. Confident in their knowledge of the market and experienced in delivering highly valued services, Rob and Matt decided to go out on their own. And they haven’t looked back since. “It was a scary proposition, delving into the unknown and launching Spinnaker. The company recently acquired one of its competitors and is planning to expand their service offerings in the next couple of months. Benson continued, “Many start-ups never reach their third anniversary, let alone their tenth. It’ll be interesting to see where we are in another 10 years.”
